Come Bow and Pluck the String Instruments at the Petting
Zoo! The Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia (SOGO) is hosting a free Instrument Petting
Zoo on Saturday, April 26, from 2-4 p.m. at the Washington Center. Kids of all ages have
an opportunity to bow or pluck the various string instruments in an orchestra.
Zookeepers from SOGO will introduce and demonstrate the instruments as the
participants visit several “instrument cages” for a hands-on experience!
