Rachel Corrie Foundation and partners gather again for a social justice block party

Join the Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice and partners during Olympia Arts Walk weekend for another social justice block party! This community gathering will be held in front of the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural, located at 119 1/2 Capitol Way, N., Olympia, on October 4th & 5th, from 6-10pm Friday the 4th and 12-6pm Saturday the 5th.
On Friday and Saturday, both days of Arts Walk, RCF will be exhibiting original artworks documenting the experiences of Palestinian youth across the decades.
Throughout Arts Walk weekend, Art Forces will also be showcasing their digital exhibition, Art for Gaza, featuring artists from Palestine and across the country. All the artwork will be for sale, with proceeds benefiting the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA). This digital exhibition will be available to the public between October 3rd and mid-November. A cultural presentation on Every Child Matters by Dakota Case from the Water Warriors Canoe Society.
A vigil for Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, a local Turkish-American student activist who was shot and killed by the Israeli military in the West Bank on September 6, 2024.
Speakers, kids activities, music, and more!
Artisan olive oil from Canaan Palestine and Palestinian crafts will be available for purchase.
This event is kid-friendly, free, and open tot the the public.
