Run, walk or roll with the Lions along the Chehalis Western trail in Lacey at this new 5k/10k run April 12. Sponsored by the Olympia Host Lions Club, Stride for Sight features both USTAF certified 5k and 10k courses and a family friendly one mile run.
Blind running teams are welcome - sighted running partner/guide runs free. Options for wheelchair participants too. Strollers are welcome on the one mile course.
Registration is open now with Early Bird pricing until March 31. $35 per runner includes free Tshirt for 5k and 10k runs. One mile course is free - no tshirt but treats for the youngsters.
100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Lions Low Vision Resource Center in Olympia, providing individuals with failing eyesight tools to remain independent longer.
