FARMER'S ALMANAC PREDICTS SOGGY WINTER ACROSS MUCH OF THE U.S.; TRAVEL ADVICE FOR WINTER VACATIONS

If you’re considering a tropical getaway this winter, the Farmer’s Almanac suggests booking your trip right after Christmas. The annual weather forecast, just released, predicts a sloppy and soggy winter for much of the United States.

According to the Almanac, Texas and the Great Lakes region are in for significant snowfall, while the Midwest is expected to experience colder-than-usual temperatures. Meanwhile, the southern states can anticipate a mild but wet January. Given the forecast, travelers might want to escape the impending winter weather by heading to warmer destinations.
