EAST LANCASHIRE, England — What do you get when you mix WWE-style action with a turkey dinner? In East Lancashire, England, a local pub hosted the annual International Gravy Wrestling Championships, and it was every bit as messy as it sounds.

Twenty-four competitors battled in a pit filled with beef gravy, all vying for one of the world's most bizarre titles. The winner walked away with £52 (about $66) and the honor of having their name etched onto a humble trophy.
