LUKE COMBS GRANTS MAKE-A-WISH FOR EIGHT-YEAR-OLD BOY WITH LEUKEMIA BY BRINGING HIM ONSTAGE TO SING “FAST CAR”
A heartwarming moment unfolded during country star Luke Combs’ world tour concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday, as he made a young boy’s dreams come true. Eight-year-old Cooper Massengill, who has been bravely battling leukemia since the tender age of three, was invited by Combs to join him onstage for a touching rendition of Tracy Chapman’s 1988 hit, “Fast Car.”
A poignant video captured the emotional encounter, showing Combs introducing Cooper to the sold-out stadium, where cheers from thousands of spectators echoed throughout. The little boy, hailing from Georgia, has undergone several surgeries in his courageous fight against the disease.
