Berlin Restaurant Serves Ramen in a Bucket from Second-Floor Window
Berlin, GERMANY – For those who enjoy a unique dining experience, Chef Christopher Selig's Food Technique Berlin restaurant offers a novel way to enjoy ramen noodles: from a bucket lowered out of a second-floor window.
Three days a week, customers can pre-order their meals and then ring the doorbell at the restaurant. In response, a red bucket containing freshly made ramen is lowered on a rope from a second-floor window. This quirky method of serving food has quickly gained popularity among locals.
Chef Selig, who rents the kitchen space a few days a week, prepares everything fresh. He explained that the unconventional delivery method started as a simple idea but quickly caught on. "People started enjoying my ramen more and more, and then it just blew up," he said.
The red bucket has become a symbol of the restaurant's creative approach, drawing curious diners eager to experience the unique service.
