SHELTER DOG REPEATEDLY FLEES TO NURSING HOME, EARNS ADOPTION

After multiple daring escapes from a local shelter, a persistent pup named Scout found himself walking through the automatic doors of a nearby nursing home. Recognizing the dog's regular visits, the nursing home's administrator decided to adopt him.

Residents of the facility have since embraced Scout, with many noting that his presence adds a homely touch. "Having a pet like Scout makes it feel more like home," remarked one nurse. Shirley, a long-time resident, added, "Scout seems very happy here."
