STAY-AT-HOME MOMS CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AN AVERAGE OF 97 HOURS A WEEK
A recent study reveals that mothers devote approximately 97 hours per week to parenting duties, equivalent to the workload of a high-paying job, according to research findings released this week. The myriad responsibilities of mothers, ranging from tutoring and nursing to cleaning, counseling, and organizing social events, effectively place them in as many as 15 different roles.
Alarmingly, more than half of the moms surveyed reported sacrificing sleep to manage their extensive tasks, highlighting the intense dedication and often overlooked value of maternal labor in family dynamics.
