The cities were evaluated across 31 metrics of fan-friendliness, including team performance, average ticket prices, and fan engagement.

New York claimed the top spot as the Best Baseball City of 2024, ranking first in the Major League Baseball (MLB) category and ninth in the college baseball (NCAA) category. As home to the Yankees and Mets, New York boasts the most World Series titles of any city, with 27 championships from the Yankees and two from the Mets.
