Woman Attempts to Use Corpse to Sign Loan Documents at Bank, Raises Staff Suspicion with 'Very Pale'
RIO DE JANEIRO — In a disturbing scene at a bank in Bangu, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, a woman was caught on camera attempting to use a deceased man to sign loan documents. Bank employees, suspicious due to the man's pale appearance, recorded the incident as it unfolded.
The woman was observed propping up the man’s head and placing a pen in his hand, while urging him to sign a piece of paper. She was heard saying, "Uncle, are you listening? You have to sign it. I can't sign for you," in an effort to complete the paperwork in her name.
Concerned staff promptly called the police and an ambulance after witnessing her manipulate the corpse’s hand to mimic a signature. The unusual and grim tactic attracted immediate attention from local authorities and the public.
