WORLD’S LONGEST MULLET

Knoxville, Tennessee - Mullets have been sported by many, but none quite like Tami Manis'. This Knoxville resident has recently been recognized by the Guinness World Record for having the longest female mullet, measuring an impressive 5 feet eight inches.

Manis, a dedicated nurse, began her journey with the iconic hairstyle in the 1980s. Her inspiration? The music video for 'Til Tuesday’s “Voices Carry.” Manis proudly shares that she hasn't trimmed her distinctive 'rat-tail' since February 8th, 1990.

While mullets have seen rises and falls in fashion, Manis' commitment to her unique 'party in the back' stands as a testament to individual style and dedication.
