The consumer review site noted a significant 88% increase in searches for destinations deemed "good for kids" in 2023 compared to the previous year, highlighting a growing trend among families to find vacation spots that offer fun and engaging activities for both children and adults.
Yelp's selection process involved analyzing search data for terms like "good for kids" and "family friendly." The company then refined its list with insights from Yelp Trend Expert Tara Lewis to identify the locales that stood out for their family-oriented attractions and amenities.
Topping the 2024 list is Fredericksburg, Texas, renowned for its quaint charm, picturesque Hill Country setting, and family-friendly activities, including hiking at Enchanted Rock and wine tasting at Pontotoc Vineyard Weingarten. Not far behind is Napa, California, famous for its vineyards and offering diverse attractions like the Di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art's outdoor sculpture walk and Connolly Ranch's nature experiences.
