Survey Finds Younger Voters Struggling More Than Previous Generations

A new survey published Sunday by CBS News reveals that the majority of voters under 30 believe it is more challenging to buy a home, raise a family, and secure a good job compared to previous generations.

According to the poll, 82% of registered voters think purchasing a home is more difficult now than it was for their predecessors. Additionally, 76% feel that raising a family has become more challenging, and about 70% believe finding a good job is harder, despite recent positive job growth figures.

The findings highlight growing concerns among younger Americans about economic stability and opportunities, contrasting with the relatively optimistic job market data. The survey underscores a generational shift in perspectives on financial and career prospects, emphasizing the hurdles faced by today's youth in achieving traditional milestones.
